BlackLabel was established in the year 2001 by Amsterdam based dj and producer KidGoesting, who was joined by mr. Rodger Mettenday a couple of years ago. In their believe in quality music from their home country they've had releases by Comtron (with members of De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig and LeLe), Melomanics (winners of the Essent Award), Matik (winners of the Grote Prijs van Nederland and Krause (winner of the 'Lopend Vuur pitch'). Meanwhile remixes were done by Laidback Luke, 3-1, Aardvarck, Rodger Seventy Two and the Walk, Shook, Grand Jackson and Auxiliary tha Masterfader. New talent was found in person of Sick Boy, Homework and Bul!m!atrion.
